Application:
Due to Tungsten Super Shot density of 18.1 g/cc (grams per cubic centimeter), TSS (Tungsten Super Shot) is an effective killer of turkeys, waterfowl, upland birds and predators. Leveraging the weight of TSS allows the use of smaller projectile sizes than lead, bismuth or steel, providing a denser pattern at range while increasing target penetration and energy. Smaller projectiles also reduce wind resistance, causing all bullets to lose velocity and energy.
The core density of the TSS can power smaller caliber guns such as 20, 28 and .410, but there are limitations in payload weight and shot size.
The smaller Tungsten Super Shot pellets can be chambered in 3-ounce-plus loads in 12-gauge, or 2-ounce-plus pellets in 20-gauge.
